Temporary EXPERIENCED DERMATOLOGY PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT
Job Description
Contract position: Length of contract 4-5 months: Available on or before February 1, 2019 through May 31, 2019
Physician Assistant or ARNP contract job opening at a clinical surgical dermatology practice.
Qualified candidates must have the following:
Graduate of an accredited ARNP or PA program.
Active Florida license
Active CPR/BLS certification
Background and experience in Dermatology
Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following functions:
Clinical dermatology services: Full skin examinations, sterile technique, skin biopsies, minor excisions, suture removals, wound care, electrodessication/curettage, etc.
Proficient in electronic medical records, experience with Modernizing Medicine Dermatology module helpful though not required
Proficient in written and verbal communication
High level of anatomical and medical terminology
Interact professionally with patients and staff
Stand for periods of 60 minutes or more
Work in accordance with established physician extender protocols to provide excellent care.
