Job Description
Avail Dermatology (formerly known as Newnan Dermatology), the premier dermatology practice in the Southern Metro Atlanta area, is looking for a full-time PA.
Founded in 1990, Avail Dermatology has grown to include five physicians and six PA’s. This is a full-service dermatology practice. Capabilities include in-house Mohs surgery performed by a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon, as well as pathology services performed by our board certified dermatopathologist, who also supervises our in-house histopathology laboratory. We have a thriving medical dermatology program with special interests in management of inflammatory skin disease. In addition, Avail Dermatology shares the facility with MedaPhase, Inc., a nationally-recognized dermatology clinical research company. Avail Dermatology is based in Newnan, a rapidly growing suburb of Atlanta, in a 14,000 s.f facility designed and built specifically for our practice. In 2014, we opened a second office in Peachtree City, a high-end planned community, and in late 2017 we opened our third office in Carrollton.
Avail Dermatology has a longstanding history of employing PA’s as front-line providers, dating back to the mid-90’s. We are experienced in training and supporting our PA’s , and provide close physician coverage at all times for our PA’s . The position is for a full-time medical dermatology position. We have proven demand to ensure that your schedule will be full from day one. Over time our PA’s may choose to develop additional specialty expertise in areas such as surgery, cosmetic, and pediatric dermatology.
We are looking for a highly motivated, highly productive PA. Prior dermatology experience is highly valued, but not required. The PA without prior experience would receive comprehensive hands-on training with the physicians of Avail Dermatology.
