Full-Time Physician Assistant
Job Description
Primary focus of the position is to provide day-to-day patient care, including performing routine examinations, office procedures, and providing assistance with surgeries, such as Robotic Surgeries
Essential Functions of the Job
Order and interpret routine laboratory, radiological, and diagnostic studies
Assess patients and write appropriate notes for physician review, write prescriptions, field calls (including some evening calls) and manage the care of assigned patients.
Understand and effectively apply and follow established hospital and practice standards and guidelines.
Have knowledge of the intent, content, and application of local, state, and federal employee health standards
Ability to work effectively under pressure and to use discretion with confidential data
Ability to convey information effectively in verbal and written communication, with the ability to use EMR at an acceptable level of proficiency
Perform other duties as assigned by manager
Experience/Background/Requirements
Must be certified or eligible for certification
We provide training, if needed, to be a robotic surgery assistant
Keyboarding and data imputing
Basic knowledge of EMR and medical terminology is strongly preferred
Benefits and Salary
Up to $90,000 starting salary, with potential earning of $125,000 plus
